Dr. Jeremy A. Rogers
Jeremy is passionate about preaching the Word of God and seeing God's people grow in faith (he began preaching at the age of 13). He believes in and practices expository preaching. Along with local ministry, he is involved in international missions including orphan care and church planting. More than anything, the mission Jeremy seeks to live by is the same mission Christ had, "To seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10). Jeremy is married to LouAnn and they have five children: Jeremiah, SaraBeth, EllaGrace, Micah, and their youngest KatieJoy, whom they welcomed through adoption from Bulgaria in October 2014. Jeremy is currently completing a PhD in Biblical Studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Jeremy has served as Teaching Pastor at Rush Creek Church (Arlington Park) since January 2013. He has served on the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Texas Convention (2011-2019) and also as Adjunct Professor of Preaching at Criswell College in Dallas. Jeremy believes the Bible to be God’s inspired, inerrant, sufficient, and authoritative revelation to man. He is in agreement with the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message, as well as The Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy. |
